seminars
The purposes of
the seminars are education and strengthening the professional staff from the schools,
health centres, and coordinating boards (doctors, paedagogues, psychologists, special
education teachers, social workers etc.) in
order to qualify on addiction related disease prevention, and to implement the “10
steps” program.
During the seminar participants will
learn about the effects of psychoactive substances as well as essential skills which would
help recognize the problems related to substance abuses, they will be trained to carry out
the workshops from the “10 steps - school for prevention of addiction related
diseases” and learn skills for preventive action.
The programme represents a combination of interactive teaching methods in the educative
workshops, complemented with classic teaching methods such as lectures.
peer education
We work together with youth: boys and girls are actively involved as peer educators in our organisation. They receive an intense training and expert supervision. The role of our peer educators is the implementation of the "10 steps" programme in schools, by maintaining actions and campaigns. Their creativity is enriching our work with new ideas, enthusiasm, youth specific communications, as an important contribution to the quality of the programme.
