institutional background

In January 2002, our preventive programme "10 steps" has been accredited by the Ministry of Education and Sport who recommended its implementation in primary and secondary schools in Serbia (nr. of accreditation 52/2002).
In 2002 the NGO "Step by Step" became a member of the National Team for Prevention of Nicotine at the Ministry of Health.
The president of organisation "Step by step" is a member of National Expert Group for Youth Health and prosperity.

programmes

Up to now, we have developed four types of educational preventive programmes:

a) Programme "10 steps" for education of professional associates (psychologies, pedagogues, motivated teachers, doctors, etc.)
b) Programme "10 steps" for education of peer educators
c) Programme for parents
d) Programme "5 steps" for giving up smoking specifically dedicated to young people
